Quick Release Skewers

The quick release skewers are one of the most important parts of the bike. They literally hold the wheels in place. Having a good set of skewers come with the wheels is important to us, so much so that many people have asked to buy the skewers separately.
Internal Cam
Getting the lever nice and tight is important so, vs. relying on an external lever pivot, we have an internal cam mechanism to close the skewers. It means a more secure hold. . .something we like to have while riding at high speeds.
Chromoly Axle
These are not those ultra light skewers that look like you'd be better off holding your wheel in place with a couple of tooth picks and a rubber band.
These skewers weigh 57 grams for the front and 63 grams for the rear. That's not over the top heavy for a skewer, but more importantly; they work! They hold your wheels in place securely while allowing you to quickly remove the wheel when needed. It's the vision Tullio had so many years ago.
