Skyuka Hubs

Pronounced Sky-You-Kuh

Coming as the hubs on our Prologue Series, the Skyuka hubs pack a lot of features into an economic hub design.

Skyuka is the major climb held on the Gran Fondo Hincapie every year (Strava link to the climb). Years ago this used to be a dirt road and Boyd would go out climbing that. They finally paved the entire climb and it instantly became a favorite climb of local cyclists. With the popularity of the Gran Fondo, riders from all over the world have cursed the steep pitches of the ascent. Just remember, it used to be a lot harder before it was paved!

The Skyuka hubs have durability in mind. While this can add a few grams over the Quest hubs, the Skyuka hubs have unbeatable torque handling with 4 pawls engaging simultaneously on 36 teeth (which gives a quick 10 degrees of engagement).

The Skyuka hubs feature press fit end caps, just like the Quest and Tripel hubs. However, you MUST use the end caps for the Skyuka hubs. You can not use a Quest end cap on a Skyuka and vice versa.

Simple swap between Shimano Hyperglide and Sram XDR freehub bodies, no tools required. Just like with the end caps you MUST use the Skyuka freehub body on Skyuka hubs. The Quest and Tripel freehub bodies will not work. The Skyuka freehub bodies have 4 pawls.

The Skyuka hubs are coming with the Skyuka logos laser etched on the end caps and freehub bodies to help avoid any confusion.
