What is it?
The Bracken is a very reinforced 30mm wide alloy MTB rim designed for aggressive Enduro style riding. Featuring a 3mm offset to balance out spoke tension, reinforced wall thicknesses, and a nipple bed rated for e-MTB.
The Bracken is only 19mm deep to give compliance while riding, and features a hookless rim profile with a thicker 1.85mm wall thickness for protection against rim dents.
The Bracken is made in our new alloy rim facility in Greenville, SC

Wheels come pre-taped with tubeless tape and with tubeless valves. On a mountain bike you definitely want a tubeless set up, and we make it way easier!

Why do I need it?
You want to put a nice set of wheels on your mountain bike and leave them on, no matter what type of riding you are doing. Weight is a priority, but not having a wheel taco on you in the middle of the woods is a bigger priority! You want the ability to run a variety of tire sizes, and of course set it up tubeless for the best puncture protection and handling. Focus more on having fun, not worry about your wheels.
The Bracken rim is made in house in South Carolina. This allows us to control all aspects of manufacturing for a higher level of QC.
