We are celebrating our ten-year anniversary in 2019 – and one of the many ways we’re partying is by announcing our “Trade In / Trade Up” program! Bikes have changed a lot over the past 10 years. We have poured our blood, sweat, and tears into our many innovations to stay ahead of the curve on an ever-changing market.

Here’s a quick list to name just of the few…

• Boyd Rims have gotten wider, stronger, better braking surfaces, longer lasting, tubeless ready, and more aerodynamic.
• We are now offering disc brake specific designs, hookless rim profiles, gravel specific 650b designs, and the list goes on and on.
• Boyd Hubs are now easier to service, offer super quick engagement, more durable, and press fit end caps provide future proof compatibility.
• We even went as far as making it easier to keep the valve stems tight on the wheel, by innovating an offset wingnut design.

Your bike stable has probably changed since you first got wheels from us. Quick release skewers used to be the only option to secure wheels to the frame, 11 speed is now the new normal (12 speed is coming!), gravel bikes have taken over the industry, and just about any bike can be equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. Those 21mm wide carbon tubulars that were so popular in 2010 and 2011 may not have a home for your current bikes.

Take 20% off any new wheelset from Boyd Cycling. Simply email us proof of ownership of your old wheels, which new wheels you’d like to purchase, and we’ll give you 20% off the wheelset! Once you receive your new wheels simply put the old Boyd wheels in the box and ship them back to us. We’ll even provide a prepaid shipping label.

It does not matter the condition of the wheels you are sending in. If the wheels are in good condition, we will do a thorough inspection and donate them to junior riders who are in need of equipment.
