RIMSThe 44mm clincher is the all purpose carbon wheelset. No matter what type of riding you are doing, the 44mm depth with improved aerodynamic profile will be a great option for you. It's a great wheel set for climbing, descending, windy conditions, races, and even training. With the mid-depth aero rim height and improved design to handle the crosswinds these can be used even in very windy areas. With the low weight of the wheels they are a great climbing wheel set and on the opposite side of that climb the wider rim profile will make for great handling when flying down a descent.Rim depth - 44mm Rim width - 27mm Inner width - 19mm Rim weight - 465 grams
TUBELESSWe have been working on our new tubeless rim bed profile for years, delivering a rim that can safely run tubeless tires as well as well as normal tube and tire. To read more about the Boyd tubeless difference, click here.Adding the Tubeless Kit: The tubeless kit above will include our new (blue) tubeless tape and tubeless valves pre-installed on the wheels! We will install two layers of the tubeless tape in the exact width you need for your wheels. We will also include and install two of our tubeless valves in the exact length needed for your wheels. Take the guess work out of converting to tubeless and let us do it for you. Note: you will still need a tubeless specific tire and sealant to run the wheels as a tubeless system.

With the 28mm tubulars being such a lightweight set of wheels, people are wanting to use them in the mountains. More and more road bikes are coming with disc brakes. With these wheels, you can fly up the mountains, and use the disc brakes on the way down to confidently stop in any terrain or weather condition.
QUEST CENTERLOCK DISC BRAKE HUBSDisc brakes are making their way to the road, joining cross and mountain biking. With the disc brakes, you have solid predictable braking in any weather condition. Use you carbon wheels in any terrain or weather conditions and still come to a stop safely. Our disc brake hubs feature:
- Wide flange spacing for a solid stiff wheelset
- Double crossing the spokes on both front and rear wheels for better torque handling
- Configuration to any axle "standard"
- Front hub - QR 100mm, 100mm X 15mm thru, 100mm X 12mm thru
- Rear hub - QR 135mm, 135mm X 12mm thru, 142mm X 12mm thru
- Very quick and solid engagement so you have no lag when starting to pedal
- Oversize 6902 bearings to hold up to even the harshest of conditions
SPOKES & NIPPLESWe feature Sapim CX Ray spokes and Sapim brass nipples on all carbon builds. Spokes are laced radially on the front and double crossed on both sides of the rear wheel for astronger build and much better transfer of torque. All spokes and nipples are black.
SPOKE COUNTThe 44mm clincher with disc brake hubs is built up with a 24/28 spoke count option for added strength due to the forces from the disc brakes.
