A 2.5mm nipple offset helps to balance the spoke tension between drive and non-drive spokes, making for a better balanced, and stronger wheel.
Finally, a disc brake specific carbon layup helps to reduce weight while keeping the same strength. Because this is not a repurposed rim brake rim, we don’t have to build up the carbon for a brake track. The result is weight savings with no skimping on the stiffness and durability.

We rode gravel on 25mm tires at first, then jumped up from 28mm eventually to 40mm. Each time the tire size increased, the bike geometry and gear ratio changed. The traction was better, but the handling was worse. Using a 650b X 47mm tire you have the same outside tire diameter as a 700c road tire.
A lightweight gravel rim that rolls really fast due to the larger footprint of tire contact. It’s designed for the low pressure/high volume 650B tire which is going to have a stronger sidewall which will increase stability.
